What is a Companbun?

A Companbun is a little bunny creature that you can interact with digitally through an AR (Augmented Reality) filter currently hosted on TikTok! Every Companbun has a different personality and their reactions are unique to themselves. They love traveling with their owners, for which they are perfectly pocket-sized and can stand on their own!

Owner's Guide to Companbun Play & Care

How to Interact with your Companbun (REQUIRES TIKTOK):1. Open TikTok, head to your profile, then click on “Your QR code”. The top left corner will open a QR code scanner.2. Scan the QR code of your adopted Companbun (below or on your Owner's Guide included with your adoption) to open their TikTok Effect. Don’t forget to save the Effect to favourites so you can find it quickly next time!3. Pick up and settle your Companbun before the camera, and the Effect will start playing. You may have to move closer to have it appear before pulling back.4. Start recording and give your Companbun a little tap on the screen to see how they react! Don't tap them too many times or too fast or your Companbun will get overwhelmed!Note: Companbuns currently aren’t comfortable with selfies!

How to Care for your Companbun:1. Make sure you keep your Companbun away from sharp objects that could scratch them. Our Companbuns come with their own paper carrier, but consider giving them a small protective pouch or case before putting them into bags and pockets with items like keys, jewelry, etc.2. Outings with your Companbun might get them dirty. To clean them, gently wipe them down with a microfiber towel! Don't use any harsh chemicals on your Companbuns, it could hurt them.3. Companbuns love going on trips with their owners, but keep them out of direct sunlight when they are resting!4. If your Companbun's forever home is particularly humid or hot, be sure to give them a cooler and dryer environment where they can rest!

Q. My Companbun isn't working, please help!
If your Companbun is not appearing:
1. Check if you are on the correct Companbun effect! You can find it by scanning the QR code on your Companbun Owner's Guide, or on the Play&Care Guide here in the Adoption Center.
2. Try zooming in extremely close to your Companbun's face and hold still until they appear.
3. Make sure your Companbun is facing the correct direction! The effect will not work if your Companbun is reversed.
4. Exit and restart TikTok!If your Companbun is not reacting:
1. Make sure your screen is clean so your device will register your finger.
2. Ensure that you haven't poked your Companbun too frequently or before they finish their reaction!
